Shenzhen Samotey Technology Co., Ltd. (SAMOTEY), a company specialising in smart sensing solutions, has recently launched the OGR350 series of non-contact photoelectric bubble sensors. Utilising advanced digital sensing technology, these sensors enable the precise detection of multiple states, including ‘fluid present’, ‘fluid absent’, ‘tube absence’ and ‘liquid colour recognition’. This series of sensors is compatible with transparent or semi-transparent tubes with outer diameters ranging from 1.6 mm to 6.35 mm. It encompasses various configurations, including pin-out, wire-out, digital, and sensor module types, catering to diverse application requirements such as bubble detection in haemodialysis, haematocrit identification, environmental instrument monitoring, and fluid path detection in IVD equipment. With a photocurrent output range of 0.2mA to 3.8mA, a response time as low as 3.2μs, and an on/off ratio of up to 2.8, the series provides high-performance sensing support for microfluidic technology applications in the medical and biofluid sectors.

Industry Significance: The launch of the OGR350 series fills a gap in the niche market for miniaturised, high-precision bubble detection sensors. Its non-contact design completely resolves the issue of fluid contamination, particularly in the fields of medical diagnostics and biopharmaceuticals, providing critical component support for the miniaturisation and intelligent upgrading of equipment.
