The clamp-on ultrasonic flow sensor (clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter) is a core product in SAMOTEY’s ultrasonic range. With its compact design, it performs measurement and output without the need for an external circuit system. Specifically designed for various fluid flow monitoring applications, it serves as a dedicated sensing solution for liquid flow monitoring in sectors such as industrial automation, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and new energy equipment manufacturing.

The sensor can be clamped directly onto the exterior of flexible plastic tubing. Utilising a non-contact detection design, it does not come into direct contact with the liquid inside the pipe, eliminating the risk of liquid contamination. It is capable of accurately measuring the flow velocity of the liquid within the pipe whilst simultaneously detecting bubbles and large solid impurities in the liquid, thereby enabling dual monitoring of both flow rate and fluid condition. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are required.
